Macro synthetic fibers (54 mm) are long-length polymer fibers designed to improve the toughness and crack resistance of concrete. Their extended length allows them to mechanically anchor within the concrete matrix, providing effective control of both plastic shrinkage cracks and post-crack propagation.

When concrete begins to crack, these fibers bridge the crack, helping distribute loads and reduce sudden brittle failure. This makes them suitable for applications where durability, impact resistance, and long-term performance are important. Macro fibers can reduce reliance on light steel mesh in certain slab-on-ground and pavement applications, particularly where corrosion resistance or ease of installation is a concern.
