This board is a lightweight sheet material with a polystyrene foam core, available in paper-faced and unfaced versions. The paper-faced type has the foam bonded between two paper sheets, giving a smooth, rigid surface suited to signage, displays, and light indoor use; however, it is not moisture-resistant. It is available only in 244 cm × 122 cm × 5 mm.
The unfaced version consists of exposed polystyrene foam, offering a more functional solution for packaging, insulation infill, and construction uses where appearance is not critical and the board will be covered or concealed. It is available in 200 cm × 100 cm with thicknesses of 3 mm, 5 mm, or 10 mm.
