Notary Fees
Notary fees in Indonesia is set by the Minister of Law and Human Rights through Ministerial Regulation No. 3 of 2022 (Permenkumham No. 3 Tahun 2022), which governs the maximum fees notaries can charge based on the value of the transaction. Below is an outline of the fee structure:
- For transactions less than or equal to Rp500,000,000:
- The fee is 1% of the transaction value.
- For transactions more than Rp500,000,000 up to Rp1,000,000,000:
- The fee is 0.75% of the transaction value.
- For transactions more than Rp1,000,000,000 up to Rp2,500,000,000:
- The fee is 0.5% of the transaction value.
- For transactions more than Rp2,500,000,000:
- The fee is 0.25% of the transaction value.
These regulations aim to standardise notary fees across the country and provide transparency for clients using notary services. Some local variations may apply, depending on the region or complexity of the transaction, but this is the general framework.
(This fee is for transactions only, verification of property ownership/due diligence are an additional fee, price on application)
