Mapeband is an elastic joint-sealing tape used to reinforce waterproofing at corners, junctions, and control joints where movement commonly causes failure. It works as part of a liquid-applied waterproofing system, allowing joints to move without cracking or tearing the membrane.

Designed for use in wet areas, balconies, terraces, and wall-to-floor transitions, Mapeband integrates seamlessly into compatible waterproofing membranes and can be tiled or coated over once installed. It can be used in swimming pool applications only when installed as part of a complete pool waterproofing system.
