A reliable activated carbon media designed for effective removal of chlorine, odour, and organic compounds from water. Available in both Iodine 450 and Iodine 800 grades, allowing filtration performance to be matched to different water conditions and treatment requirements.

The Iodine 450 grade is supplied in a 25 kg bag and is suitable for general filtration applications where standard chlorine reduction and odour control is required, commonly used in standard PDAM water treatment systems.

The Iodine 800 grade is supplied in a 20 kg bag and offers a higher adsorption capacity, providing improved removal of finer organic compounds, taste, and odour issues. It is better suited for higher-quality filtration systems, selected well water applications, and protecting downstream equipment such as softeners and RO systems.

With an 8×30 mesh size, the carbon maintains consistent water flow while providing good contact time for effective filtration inside FRP carbon filter vessels. Installed after sand filtration, it helps polish the water by improving clarity, smell, and overall water quality.

It is suitable for both new installations and media replacement in FRP carbon tanks at 80% of tank capacity.
