A replacement thermostat for electric storage water heaters, designed to monitor water temperature and automatically control the heating element. The sensing probe extends into the tank, switching the heating element off when the selected temperature is reached and back on as the water cools, helping maintain a consistent temperature and improve energy efficiency.
Available with 16 cm, 22 cm and 27 cm probe lengths to suit different tank sizes. The 16 cm probe is typically suitable for small tanks, 22 cm for medium tanks and 27 cm for larger tanks.
Suitable for domestic and commercial electric storage water heaters. When replacing an existing thermostat, match the probe length, voltage, current rating and mounting configuration to the original component.
